The Role
Vocational Trainees assist in the provision of life saving treatment within the community. This position involves around three (3) years of Foundational training culminating in graduation to becoming a qualified paramedic who works with other paramedics, senior management and specialised resources including SES, Police, Fire Brigade and Helicopter Medical Service in the delivery of excellent patient care.

  • Submit a current and relevant resume
  •  Provide a copy of your driving history from each country, state or territory in which you have held a driver licence.
  • The Paramedicine Board of Australia (AHPRA) requires all applicants to meet minimum requirements for initial registration to demonstrate English language skills to be suitable for registration. Please submit English language skillsrequirements form along with evidence as part of your application. Click Here for the form.   • Respond to the Pre-screening Questions and submit evidence of Aboriginality; living in a regional or remote location; or refugee status as it applies to you.
  • Address the three targeted questions listed below. This will be reviewed and will count towards your application.
  • Provide the names of 2 referees – referees must either be a present or past supervisor/manager.

  • An 18 month eligibility list may be established for future vacancies.
