What you'll be doing
Purpose of the Position
The Strategic Projects Manager works closely with the senior leadership team, people managers and emerging leaders to oversee the delivery of complex organisational programs and projects. The role facilitates engagement and collaboration between directorates and key stakeholders, internal and external to the organisation, to ensure enhanced alignment to ACI’s strategic objectives.
The position provides leadership, coaching, technical advice and proactive support to streams within the Agency of Clinical Innovation regarding the design, execution and evaluation of strategic projects and activities.

- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated relevant, equivalent professional experience in the delivery of significant strategic projects in a complex environment.
- Extensive experience in applying strategic thinking, adaptive problem solving and evidence-based approaches to drive innovation in a dynamic context.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, influencing and motivational skills which demonstrate a capacity to build and maintain relationships with senior managers and staff.
- Excellent coaching, presentation, training, facilitation, and program design skills developed through substantial applied experience.
- Demonstrated high level conceptual, analytical and planning skills, including interpreting complex information, and preparing and presenting analysis and reports to create actionable strategic program solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to establish strategic networks to affect organisational improvement.
