About the role:
Community Midwives work closely with the local doctors surgeries, Virtual and telehealth services to base facilities to support and coordinate care from pre-conception to post natal care. Prevention programs and Health promotion programs.

 

Coonamble is a rural town with 8 acute beds, emergency department, dialysis, residential aged care , ambulatory care, Generalist Community Nurses, Community Midwifery, Child and Family Health, Aboriginal Health, Physiotherapy and a range of virtual community primary health services.

NDIS requirement:

In accordance with the requirements of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission Regulation 2013, any person engaged in NDIS related work is required to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check (NDISWC) clearance as part of their employment with Western NSW Local Health District if successful for this role.

Coonamble MPS is 160 Km from the large regional centre of Dubbo. Coonamble and district offer many opportunities.
