What you'll be doing
To provide efficient and effective patient services to the Emergency Department whilst working within mandatory policies and procedures to facilitate smooth operation of the department.
- Experience in a frontline administrative customer service role in a complex organisation as an effective team member.
- Willingness and ability to work a 24 hour rotating roster with flexibility and ability to work extra shifts as requested.
- Demonstrated computer literacy including proficient keyboard and data entry skills and competence in the use of computer software packages including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with a willingness to acquire new skills.
- Understanding of the complexities of consumers with Mental Health and/or Drug and Alcohol issues including parents under pressure.
- Understanding of and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills both oral and written.
- Ability to prioritise and work under pressure in a busy and demanding environment.
