Selection Criteria
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia; or qualifications in accordance with Schedule C of the NSW Health Service Health Professionals (State) Award and registration with AHPRA and/or governing discipline body if required by the Award; or full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, with Endorsement in Clinical Psychology (or eligibility to progress to same), along with a minimum two-year full-time equivalent Master or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology.
- Extensive experience at a senior clinical and service management level in the field of HIV, sexual health, vulnerable populations and/or viral hepatitis or related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to provide high level of guidance, leadership and management of resources and services.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and to apply advanced reasoning skills and independent professional judgement when dealing with situations of a novel, complex or critical nature.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and share quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and demonstrated application of evidence-based practice within their discipline.
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders, throughout all organisational levels.
- Willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
