  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Law, Employee Relations and/or equivalent professional experience in public sector investigations, administrative law principles and/or human resources/industrial relations or related field.
  2. Demonstrated extensive experience in conducting and managing a large and varied caseload of complex investigative matters and in providing accurate and strategic briefings, submissions, reports and advice within legislative and policy timeframes.
  3. Demonstrated experience in conducting procedurally fair workplace investigations that are compliant with policy and legislative requirements. This includes well developed interviewing, sound analytical, conceptual and problem solving skills relating to the assessment, review or investigation of complex matters. Also, the ability to formulate effective recommendations, and prepare detailed and accurate reports and correspondence that are compliant with relevant legislation, policy and guidelines.
  4. Highly developed interpersonal, verbal and written communication, negotiation, influencing, engagement, collaboration and dispute resolution skills including the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, throughout all levels of the organisation.
  5. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing systems and processes that support and drive continuous quality improvement and build capacity and capability in the conduct of workplace investigations.
  6. Demonstrated experience in coaching staff, and developing and delivering training or education in a large service organisation.
  7. Demonstrated experience in project management, from project conception to evaluation.
  8. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
