Please note: To be eligible for permanent appointment to a position in NSW Health, you must have an Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive data, statistical, information management or information technology experience
- Sound understanding of statistical concepts, modelling, forecasting techniques and relevant business application, as well as an understanding of Clinical Governance processes.
- Expert user of MS Excel and MS Access (including ability to establish ODBC feed)
- Demonstrated experience in the use of Statistical software, preferably SPSS. Experience or understanding in the use of Business Intelligence tools, preferably Qlik, Power BI or CorVu.
- Advanced analytical skills, including an excellent eye for detail and proven ability to quickly analyse and understand complex information, business processes, and concepts to make informed decisions.
- Exceptional organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with a capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform and always work with a customer focused approach.
- Able to demonstrate qualities such as integrity, warmth, friendliness and enthusiasm.
- Proven ability to work with minimal supervision and as a team member and in a multi-disciplinary team.
