What You'll be Doing
The Revenue Officer will be responsible for the effective and efficient collection of Inpatient and Outpatient revenue in compliance with the Ministry of Health and District guidelines and to raise awareness co- ordination and integration of revenue functions into routine administrative processes within Fairfield Hospital.

- High level analytical and problem solving skills with a proven capacity to develop sound solutions to complex issues and conflict resolution.
- High level advocacy and negotiation skills with well-developed interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective working relationships.
- Ability to work at a high level of effectiveness autonomously and as part of a team with proven time management and organisational skills.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills with ability to critically analyse and correct data and information including data integrity to ensure the maximization of revenue and prepare clear concise reports and business client communications for management.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and knowledge of Patient Administration System/Cerner including Resource Scheduling and PBRC
- Knowledge of Medicare outpatient billing requirements and the health insurance industry from a Public Hospital perspective and advanced understanding of NSW Fees Procedures Manual for Public Health Organisation.
