About the Opportunity

Hoxton Park Community Health Centre are seeking a dedicate and driven Registered Nurse to join their Child & Family Health Team!

In this role you will be working within a multi-disciplinary team, servicing the families of the Liverpool LGA who are vulnerable and is both home visits and clinic based.

 

What You'll be Doing
The Registered Nurse will provide safe, compassionate, quality, person centred care and work in collaboration with patients/families/carers and a multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and outcomes.

How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  1. Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Child and Family Health nursing qualifications or commitment to obtain in first 12 months, with relevant experience.
  2. Demonstrated recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an environment appropriate to the relevant speciality
  3. Demonstrated ability to provide safe compassionate quality care that is culturally responsive
  4. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with clients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs
  5. Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise
  6. Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidenced based nursing care
  7. Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace
  8. Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
