About the role:

Casual Registered Nurses will have the flexibility of working across various areas of the JHCH, as per their preference/speciality. On commencement, you will be offered supernumerary orientation days with support from the education team in an ongoing capacity to provide support and ensure learning and development goals are met. The various areas within the JHCH include:

  • NICU
  • SCU
  • Outpatients
  • HITH
  • Virtual Kids
  • Paediatric Surgery/Oncology
  • Paediatric Medical
  • Adolescent Unit


Where you'll be working:

The John Hunter Children’s Hospital (JHCH) is located in beautiful Newcastle NSW.

The JHCH offers Nurses the opportunity to work in a tertiary level paediatric facility, while enjoying the benefits of a lifestyle surrounded by beaches, lakes and bush.

The JHCH provides complex services for Northern NSW that include:

  • Medical
  • Surgical
  • Oncology
  • Major trauma
  • Neonatal 


About you:

  • We are a seeking dynamic, caring and motivated Registered Nurses who possess paediatric and/or neonatal nursing experience, that have a positive team work ethic.

This is a Category A position.
