What You'll Be Doing:

The Operations Assistant will maintain a clean, well-stocked working environment for the medical and nursing staff. They work in close collaboration with the Equipment Nurse, external stakeholders (Oracle, iProcurement, hospital stores) and Health Services Clinical Products Committee to ensure right and adequate stocks are provided in our very busy and challenging work environment. Additionally, assist in the maintenance of a safe environment for the safe delivery of patient care and to support the Emergency Department in its daily operation activities.

Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated ability to function as a part of a team in a complex, multi-disciplinary environment, and the ability to relate to people at all levels.
  2. Demonstrated ability to manage material resources and ability to work unsupervised
  3. Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  4. Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload with flexibility to adapt to a changeable environment
  5. Demonstrated commitment to providing a quality customer service and quality improvement initiatives in workplace practices and procedures
