Selection criteria to be addressed:
- Registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board, Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated post qualification experience working as an Occupational Therapist providing clinical care in any of the following settings – Inpatient, Outpatients/Ambulatory Care, Community Health, Paediatrics, Mental Health , Drug & Alcohol
- Ability to work independently as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team and provide clinical direction when working with Allied Health Assistants
- Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication with patients/clients/consumers, teams and agencies, with experience in clinical documentation and formal reporting
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent professional judgement using skilled clinical reasoning and seek professional consult when performing novel, complex or critical tasks
- Demonstrated experience in the use of relevant evidence based practice to guide decision making
- Demonstrated high level of organisational skills, including ability to prioritise clinical activity
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel.
