How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  1. Relevant Information technology/ computer science tertiary qualifications, or equivalent industry qualifications, with emphasis on data administration and management of data movement, data warehousing, health informatics and information and communication systems.
  2. Competency in a range of object-oriented programming, scripting and statistical software, preferably Python / R, and SAS / Stata, and previous experience working with large datasets.
  3. Working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with Microsoft SQL server and Oracle.
  4. Knowledge and experience with cloud technologies such as Azure and AWS, with hands-on experience in migrating data from on-premises solutions to the cloud.
  5. Knowledge and experience working with reporting tools such as Power BI, Excel, Qlik and SharePoint, with the ability to design data structures that provide the most flexibility to using these reporting tools.
  6. Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently with minimal guidance, including establishment of priorities, time management, and excellent attention to detail. Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  7. Demonstrated ability to analyse, troubleshoot, solve problems, establish priorities effectively and liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues.
  8. Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
