Our Community Mental Health (CMH) Team is dedicated to creating a supportive environment where staff are empowered to thrive.
Achieve Something Great
An exciting opportunity exists to join the Infant, Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (ICAMHS) at Bankstown Community Health Centre. In this role, you will support children, young people (up to 18 years) and their families experiencing moderate to severe mental health challenges, delivering recovery focused, trauma informed care within the community.
As part of a skilled multidisciplinary team, you’ll provide therapeutic interventions, comprehensive case management, and work closely with families, schools and community partners to promote safety, resilience and positive outcomes.
This is a pool clinician role, meaning while you’ll be based at Bankstown, there may be opportunities to work across other ICAMHS community sites as service needs evolve.
As a pool clinician, you’ll begin by supporting one of our teams to fill a current vacancy. As new opportunities arise across our mental health services, you may be offered the chance to transition to other teams—providing you with valuable experience and exposure across the diverse services within SWSLHD Community Mental Health.
Future roles may become available at Ingleburn, Bankstown, Campbelltown, Ambarvale, Liverpool, Fairfield, and Wollondilly.
We welcome applications from Allied Health students awaiting confirmation of course completion, conferral or registration.
