- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with post graduate qualification in Child and family health nursing and at least 3 years' experience.
- Demonstrated specialist skills to work closely with families utilising evidence-based models of care and approaches that are supportive and inclusive with an early intervention focus.
- Demonstrated ability and experience in planning, coordinating and evaluating education programs.
- Demonstrated expertise in the management of complex clinical issues and the application of evidence-based practice, advanced critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated communication skills and proven ability to implement change across a multidisciplinary team using an evidence-based and a collaborative approach.
- Demonstrated commitment to maintain currency of practice: experience or commitment to participate/lead clinical research and quality improvement activities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and also to work collaboratively with clients, carers, the multidisciplinary team and services across child development stages (0 to 4 yrs).
- Current NSW driver's license and ability and willingness to travel for work purposes.
