Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2 (Community Palliative Care)

Selection Criteria:

1. Current registration with the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse with 3 or more years’ experience working in the clinical area of their specified post-graduate qualification. A current NSW drivers licence class C and willingness to travel according to the job demands of the role.
2. Relevant post- graduate qualifications in the specified area of clinical practice.
3. Exercises extended autonomy of decision making, professional knowledge and judgment in providing complex care requiring advanced clinical skills.
4. Demonstrates a high level of confidence and clinical proficiency in carrying out a range of procedures, treatments and interventions that are evidenced based and are within scope of clinical practice guidelines and ability.
5. Demonstrated experience in leading and initiating activities to improve clinical service delivery and patient clinical outcomes.
6. Actively participate in the support, teaching, coaching and development of others.
7. Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and work in an interdisciplinary team.
8. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a time efficient manner.
