In this impactful role, the Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) provides essential support, education, clinical teaching, and assessment to New Graduates, Transitional Registered Nurses, and the entire Surgical Services nursing workforce. The CNE’s influence spans all surgical units at John Hunter Hospital, including J3, H3, G2, F1, F3, E2, E3, AGSU, Renal Transplant, SDDOS, Bone Bank, and the Perioperative Clinic.
As a vital member of the Surgical Education team, the CNE collaborates in designing, implementing, and evaluating cutting-edge nursing education programs, advancing the skills and knowledge of all nursing staff in Surgical Services to meet the highest standards of patient care.

- This position is full time; however, job share and/or part time arrangements will be considered.
- Interviews are tentatively scheduled Wednesday 20th November 2024.
- To be eligible for employment in this position you must be an Australian Citizen, or permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen with a current New Zealand Passport, or hold an appropriate visa that allows you to live and work in Australia.
