Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualification in social work, psychology or counselling.
- Extensive experience with demonstrated skills in the provision of counselling, case management and/or psycho-social support to clients with complex needs / co-morbidities.
- Understanding of primary healthcare principles and commitment to harm minimisation approach to drug use, applying flexible, eclectic and non-judgemental approaches to client care.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends in the sometimes unpredictable and potentially volatile environments in the Kings Cross area.
- Experience in the design, delivery and evaluation of activities, training and/or programs to clients and other health professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and to exercise independent professional judgement, commensurate with years of experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality improvement and evidence based practice and to ongoing clinical and professional learning.
- Current NSW driver's licence.
