How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible.
- Degree in either Psychology (4 year), Social Work, Health Science (Mental Health) or Nursing with registration/membership (or eligibility) of relevant professional association/board.
- Minimum 3 years experience in the mental health assessment, management and provision of therapeutic interventions including group work with children and young people, their families and carers in a community setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of the NSW Mental Health Act and the NSW Children and Young Persons (Care and Protection) Act.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a sole practitioner and as part of a multidisciplinary team delivering mental health services to children and young people, families and carers.
- Demonstrated organisational, communication (both written and verbal) and intermediate level computer skills.
- Current license to drive in NSW and the willingness to travel within the District, with the possibility of overnight stays.
