Where you'll be working
SESLHD sites include, but are not limited to: Prince of Wales Hospital, Royal Hospital for Women, St George Hospital, The Sutherland Hospital and Sydney/Sydney Eye Hospital. The position also supports ISLHD and affiliated partners.
What you'll be doing
The Electronic Patient Record Analyst will be responsible for providing application support to a large and diverse range of stakeholders across a large geographical area.
The Analyst will primarily be responsible for providing design, build and support for the PowerChart module of the Cerner electronic medical record (eMR) however will also be required to provide support for the rest of the applications within the Cerner eMR suite of products.
The role will also incorporate design, development and project activities across all applications to meet LHD and State strategic activities, particularly around the ongoing requirements surrounding electronic orders, consults and clinical documentation.
Selection Criteria
- Extensive relevant experience in health environments with knowledge of clinical workflows
- Demonstrated experience in providing application support to clinical stakeholders and an understanding of support methodologies
- Demonstrated high level analytical and problem solving skills including, the ability to provide authoritative advice and recommendations across a large and complex organisation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in engaging clinicians, senior management and other key stakeholders
- Demonstrated experience in the design or support of electronic medical record content
- Proven ability to self-motivate and work in a team environment to foster collaboration of ideas and continuous improvements to the supporting of the application
- Excellent time management skills including the ability to establish priorities effectively to meet competing deadlines
- Demonstrated experience in project implementation and knowledge of project methodologies
