Aged Care, Delirium and Dementia Clinical Nurse Consultant

1. Registered with Authority to Practice with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency. Minimum seven years full time post graduate experience with 5 years full time equivalent in the specialty field. In addition the applicant must have an approved post graduate qualification and/or Masters level relevant to the specialty or evidence of working towards same in identified area of specialty.
2. Demonstrated skills in comprehensive assessment of older people, and knowledge and/or experience working with Aged Care.
3. Demonstrated clinical leadership skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in nursing practice.
4. Ability to assess, plan, initiate and manage complex cases.
5. Commitment to personal and professional development and quality improvement.
