Remuneration: $31.21 - $32.24 per hour + 11.5% Superannuation + Salary Packaging

Hours: 20 hours per week across Wednesday to Friday

About our team:
The Children's Hospital Outpatient Department is a very busy service that will see approximately 27,000 children a year by 40 different specialists. Clinics are held locally at John Hunter Children's Hospital, John Hunter Hospital and Belmont Campus. Specialties also attend outreach clinics across the district and wider NSW area. Travel to other sites locally will be required on an ad-hoc basis.
Our team pride themselves on their capability to be adaptable and step into any of the variety of roles that exist within the unit. New team members are surrounded by knowledgeable and helpful staff who will support their commencement into the position. The Clinic Coordinator will be available for guidance and will ensure that you have access to any training or education requirements to promote success in your new role.
About the role:
This is an extremely busy and fast paced department where a high number of patients present daily. You will need to be able to think quickly and move swiftly in a well-coordinated team that work together. Expect urgent and unplanned requests from multiple clinicians and specialty services.
You will be supported by the Team Leader and an experienced Administration Team. You will be provided with online and face to face learning for professional development and you will be provided with refresher courses as required.
About you:
You will be a quick thinker who can work under pressure in a busy clinic setting and enjoy being part of a dedicated team. Your customer service history and administration experience has provided you with all the skills that are required to provide effective support to Medical, Allied Health and Nursing staff.

- Be able to learn multiple computer programs and software programs used in the hospital
