- Registered Nurse/Midwife who has minimum 5 years full time post graduate experience with 3 years full time equivalent in the specialty field. In addition, the applicant must have an approved post graduate qualification (minimum Grad Diploma/Certificate level) or evidence of working towards Masters level qualification.
- Relevant clinical experience with patients/ families/ carers at the end of life, preferably in palliative care. Experience with Intravenous Administration access is preferable, but not required.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including managers, medical, nursing and allied health clinicians, administration staff, primary health network and facility/ service governance staff to facilitate effective program coordination and delivery.
- Sound knowledge of the Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2022 and experience in supporting patients/ families/ carers through the process and requirements at each stage.
