Access Service Coordinator, NSW Voluntary Assisted Dying Support Service

1. Registered Nurse/Midwife who has minimum 5 years full time post graduate experience with 3 years full time equivalent in the specialty field. In addition, the applicant must have an approved post graduate qualification (minimum Grad Diploma/Certificate level) or evidence of working towards Masters level qualification.
2. Relevant clinical experience with patients/ families/ carers at the end of life, preferably in palliative care. Experience with Intravenous Administration access is preferable, but not required.
3. Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders including managers, medical, nursing and allied health clinicians, administration staff, primary health network and facility/ service governance staff to facilitate effective program coordination and delivery.
4. Sound knowledge of the Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2022 and experience in supporting patients/ families/ carers through the process and requirements at each stage.
