This is a targeted recruitment action for Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people under the NSW Government’s Eligible Person definition in accordance with Part 5, Clause 26 of the NSW Government Sector Employment Rules 2014. Applicants must be able to demonstrate how they meet the Australian Aboriginal and / or Torres Strait Islander criteria as defined by the Aboriginal Land Rights Act 1983. Upon successful completion of the Health Management Intern program, there will be an opportunity for a temporary full-time Health Manager position within the district for up to 12 months. This provides you with an opportunity to not only consolidate the skills you developed during the two years in the programme but will set you up on the pathway towards an amazing career with Western Sydney Local Health District as a manager and serving the community of western Sydney.
