Coordinate and deliver key redevelopment initiatives across Western Sydney hospitals by managing project processes, building stakeholder partnerships and supporting major capital works programs.

 

 

Employment Type: Temporary Full Time (1 June 2026 up to 4 June 2027)

Remuneration: $57.62 - $67.98 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38
Location: Westmead and Blacktown & Mount Druitt Hospitals

 

 

Where you'll be working 
Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) is delivering some of the most significant healthcare infrastructure projects in NSW. This role supports major redevelopment initiatives including the Westmead Hospital Redevelopment, the relocation of Cumberland Hospital Mental Health Services, the new Rouse Hill Hospital development and the Blacktown & Mount Druitt Hospitals Expansion.

Working across Westmead and Blacktown & Mount Druitt Hospitals, you’ll join a collaborative redevelopment team that partners with Health Infrastructure, consultants and clinical leaders to shape the future of healthcare in Western Sydney.

What you'll be doing
The Redevelopment Project Coordinator provides coordination and administrative support across multiple capital works projects, ensuring effective processes, communication and documentation to support project delivery.
 

  • Coordinate planning activities, meetings and consultation across redevelopment projects

  • Support the development and management of project documentation and reporting

  • Liaise with Health Infrastructure, consultants and internal stakeholders to maintain project workflows

  • Track project milestones and prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for governance and leadership

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within the HPE CM document management system

How to Apply

  1. Experience in project management.

  2. Experience in a complex health environment with clinical experience / sound understanding of clinical service delivery and models of care.

  3. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external key stakeholders, project groups and senior level management.

  4. Excellent time management and organisation skills with attention to detail.

  5. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and use initiative.

  6. Demonstrated performance in implementing change through application of change management principles including experience in risk identification, assessment and mitigation.

  7. Understanding of planning, decanting and commissioning activities and time constraints involved.

  8. Valid NSW Drivers Licence and be willing to use it for work purposes
