- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) [and current NSW Driver's Licence]
- Extensive recent post registration clinical experience and knowledge of current nursing and midwifery issue in the required speciality
- Proven leadership and management skills and demonstrated ability to lead manage and support a clinical team
- Evidence of and commitment to patient/customer focussed care, clinical governance and quality improvement
- Demonstrated knowledge in initiating and implementing changes to improve clinical service delivery and outcomes, models of care, evidence based practice and practice development
- Demonstrated understanding of budget development and monitoring financial performance
- Demonstrated experience in written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy in Microsoft applications and roster management systems
- Demonstrated understanding of how the District is Caring for the Coast and how this role would contribute
