What you'll be doing
Providing assistance to laboratory staff by performing a range of technical and administrative services, to contribute to the efficient operation of the Unit, and consequently to the creation of better health and justice systems in NSW.
- A working knowledge of, or demonstrated ability to quickly learn, general laboratory duties and sample handling activities relevant to the Unit
- Ability to work in a responsible and efficient manner in a team environment to deliver results within specified timeframes
- Demonstrated customer service experience, including the ability to communicate effectively with clients and customers
- Excellent data entry and information retrieval skills including high attention to detail and data accuracy
- Demonstrated problem solving skills including an ability to apply established principles in a laboratory and resolve general issues within the laboratory environment
- Commitment to the principles of quality management and continuous quality improvement activities
- Demonstrated capacity to adopt and model the NSWHP RITE values of Respect, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence
