What you'll be doing
Direct, co-ordinate and supervise the provision of nursing services within a community health/hospital/heath service environment to maximise the health outcomes for patients/clients.
Assist and support the Nurse Manager/Health Service Manager in the day to day clinical and operational management of the Service/Unit.

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
- Relevant management tertiary qualification or equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience with a demonstrated commitment to professional development
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the management and delivery of health care services and leading teams
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills that demonstrate the ability to engage, enable and manage teams.
- Understanding of leadership skills, ward/service goals and the principles of change management
- Proven ability to create and maintain a positive workplace culture that incorporates a safety culture for both patients and staff.
- Understanding of and commitment to the effective and meaningful engagement of clinicians in the decision-making process that impact on positive patient outcomes
- Understanding of and commitment to coaching, leading and mentoring others to deliver service requirements and adapt to ongoing change within a multidisciplinary team.
