To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible
- Demonstrated interpersonal written and verbal communication skills
- Physically capable of carrying out all duties including standing for long periods, lifting, pushing and pulling loads, as outlined in the Job Demands Checklist for this role
- Ability to follow directions from line management and senior staff and work independently under routine supervision
- Ability to relate well to others and work effectively as a member of a team
- Demonstrated understanding of WHS and infection control principles and how these pertain to the sterilisation service
- Sound attention to detail to ensure accuracy to meet required standard of the Sterilising Department
- Availability and capacity to participate in a 24 hour/ seven-day rotating roster which includes working all shifts, all days of the week including public holidays
