What you'll be doing
This is for testing of New Grade.

Provides day to day provision of corrective and preventive maintenance services in accordance of the Asset Management Policy to ensure the maintenance objectives are met in a timely, reliable and efficient manner. Ensures all facilities are safe, compliant and available for the provision of health care services for the community.
  1. Evidence of current Welder qualifications – Fabrication Engineering or equivalent.
  2. Demonstrated knowledge of general plant and equipment operation and performance & ability to assess repair requests and organise appropriate actions to effect repairs.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures for buildings, plant and equipment.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge of Work Health Safety principles and Australians Standards relating to equipment installations in hospitals, with the ability to acquire new skills and keep up to date with trade developments.
  5. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and independently initiate and prioritise actions to complete complex tasks.
  6. Demonstrated ability to liaise with stakeholders across a health care setting for scheduling of works or to provide technical advice.
  7. Demonstrated computer proficiency with proven accurate data entry skills within Microsoft Office Suite and Asset Management database systems.
  8. Evidence of a current unrestricted driver’s licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.
