- Applicants must hold the qualifications as determined in the Paramedics and Control Centre Officers (State) Award and be able to demonstrate a high level of clinical competence including a minimum level of having completed relevant training and work experience.
- Highly developed leadership ability with demonstrated capabilities and experience in managing the complex and diverse coordination of out of hospital care delivery.
- Demonstrated highly developed communication, negotiation, consultation and collaboration skills and the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders and professional groups throughout NSW Health.
- An ability to supervise, mentor and provide advice to Control Centre staff in relation to the applicability, clinical safety and outcomes of the CRO role and its outputs.
- Demonstrated ability to organise, establish priorities and manage referrals from other staff and work efficiently under time pressures.
- Ability to reasonably and correctly record data and information for the purpose of evaluation and review process.
- Demonstrated current competency in the use of communication technology.
