What you'll be doing
Provide a range of administrative and clerical support services to the Mental Health Executive Team to achieve their objectives in a timely, reliable and efficient manner.
Primary functions of this role include:
  • Process and record requests for information including medical records in accordance with relevant legislation, policies and procedures. This includes Subpoenas and Court Orders etc.
  • Providing Administrative support the various committees, including preparation of agenda and taking of minutes.
Supporting the Mental Health Service in the collation and management of information in relation to the NSQHS National Standards (Accreditation)

  1. Previous working experience providing administrative and information management support.
  2. Proven ability to interpret and apply relevant organisational policy and/or legislation.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including a proven ability to interpret and respond in writing to correspondence.
  4. Excellent computer literacy and demonstrated proficiency using MS Office and TRIM or a similar electronic filing system.
  5. Demonstrated ability to priorities work and meet deadlines in a high volume work environment.
  6. Proven ability to maintain confidentiality, mange sensitive issues in a professional and customer focused manner.
  7. Experience in providing committee secretarial support, preparation of agendas/business papers and recordings of proceedings.
