Where you'll be working

Sydney Hospital and Sydney Eye Hospital is steeped in history, with a legacy of nursing and medical firsts to its credit and has paved the way in many clinical areas - both nationally and internationally. Sydney Hospital and Sydney Eye Hospital is Australia's first hospital and dates from the arrival of the First Fleet in 1788. 
The Sydney Hospital and Sydney Eye Hospital started at Millers Point in 1882 and moved to Woolloomooloo in 1922. In 1996 Sydney Eye Hospital was relocated from Sir John Young Crescent site to Macquarie Street to form The Sydney and Sydney Eye Hospital.

What you'll be doing

The Pharmacy Procurement Category Manager will provide a high quality executive and administrative service to support the efficient and effective operation of SESLHD Pharmacy Services (including the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network Randwick Campus where services have been agreed) to achieve business and service objectives.  The position will ensure the provision of efficient procurement management, improve alignment between Facility / Service Pharmacy Services’ procurement, and deliver consistency in pricing and utilitsation of pharmaceuticals across SESLHD. The position will contribute to quality assurance activities across SESLHD with specific responsibility for ensuring compliance with relevant standards and management of drug shortages and recalls under the direction of the District Pharmacy Business Support Manager.  The position will work closely with Facility / Service Pharmacy Store Officers on the end to end processes of Pharmacy Services procurement.
