What you'll be doing
Hunter New England (HNE) will be the first Local Health District in NSW to migrate to the Single Digital Patient Record. This program will consolidate the major patient administration systems and electronic medical record systems to a single state-wide instance.
 
The Change Lead role provides a unique opportunity to be an integral part of the implementation of the SDPR, facilitating and HNE services to achieve clinical transformation and maximise benefits realisation.
 
The incumbent's excellent facilitation skills, understanding and experience in large projects and in health care provision and/or processes will be valuable in managing change at all levels of the organisation and promoting optimal staff readiness and adoption.
  1. Demonstrated experience in implementing change within the clinical and operational environment of HNE LHD
  2. Demonstrated interpersonal, influencing and negotiation skills with extensive experience engaging and influencing key stakeholders and customers to influence and achieve optimal business outcomes.
  3. Demonstrated analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports, deal with challenges creatively and achieve business focused solutions.
  4. A broad understanding of clinical systems currently in use within HNE and experience working on initiatives within the HNE operational structures (hospitals and services) as well as the clinical networks and streams
  5. Experience implementing a recognised generic change management framework (PROSCI - ADKAR) or a health specific change/adoption framework (Hardwiring Excellence or HNE adaptation)
  6. Demonstrated experience in clinician and manager coaching using HNE Excellence framework or similar.
