- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Paediatric Neurologist, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways
- Demonstrated Specialist training in all aspects of general neurology, comprehensive training in all aspects of epilepsy management including competence in neurophysiology, and research experience in areas of paediatric neurology
- Demonstrated and proven experience in the provision of clinical care of inpatients including epilepsy with sound expertise in conducting outpatient clinics in general neurology and epilepsy
- Demonstrated recent clinical experience in paediatric neurology
- Experience in diagnosis and treatment of complex epilepsy, ideally with experience in genetic and advanced neuroimaging technologies, drug and dietary therapies, epilepsy surgery
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement
