Employment Type: Temporary Part Time until 26 March 2027 (with possibility of ongoing employment)

Remuneration: $57.62 - $67.99 per hour

What you'll be doing
This position will provide statistical analysis, reporting, advice and support to clinicians, researchers, research students and other staff as required.
This position will apply statistical methods to clinical research and conduct statistical analysis of health data using various statistical packages.
This position will support the activities of Research across NSLHD, providing advice and analysis of a wide variety of projects.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Please outline your post‑graduate training or experience in biostatistics, including your proficiency with statistical software (e.g. SAS, SPSS, STATA, R) and your approach to managing sensitive health‑related data in accordance with legislation and ethical standard.
- In research projects, competing priorities often arise. Can you provide an example of when you independently resolved an issue, applied standard research procedures, and demonstrated strong organisational skills under pressure?
- Research projects often require strict adherence to protocols and standards. Can you describe a situation where you had to apply research procedures, exercise sound judgement, and work independently to resolve an issue that arose during a study or data analysis task
