What you'll be doing
The Admin Support Officer role is an integral part of team that supports the operational aspects of the Security Unit and provides a face to face customer service to hospital staff, patients and visitors.
- Demonstrated understanding of the principles and practices of office management supported by experience in a customer-service driven work environment
- Demonstrated organisational ability together with the capacity to exercise discretion, confidentiality, reliability and flexibility
- Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to deal effectively and tactfully with people at all levels
- Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite and ability to learn and adapt to new work systems and technologies
- Demonstrated ability to determine priorities, organise and co-ordinate work, meet strict deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team without the need for close supervision
- Demonstrated high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Demonstrated sound customer service skills in a clerical / reception office environment with the ability to handle and resolve customer enquiries
