About Us
At eHealth NSW, we’re leading the digital transformation of Australia’s largest health system. As NSW Health’s digital centre of excellence, we design, build and support world-class ICT solutions that improve patient care across the state.

Guided by a Cloud First Strategy, we’re harnessing digital technology to better patient care and deliver scalable, quality, patient-centred, digital healthcare. With your skills and experience, you can help enrich the lives of millions while developing your career within Australia’s largest health organisation—alongside passionate tech professionals, health partners and industry leaders building solutions that truly make a difference.

About the Opportunity

AI is transforming our NSW Health system, and we are working to harness its use to address some of our most complex challenges so we can deliver safer, smarter and more connected care for the people of NSW.

As the AI Product Manager, you will lead a team responsible for the early-stage creation, development, and validation of multiple AI enabled products and platforms. This role applies deep technical and product expertise to define customer problems, experiment with emerging AI capabilities, prototype and pilot solutions, and embed responsible AI and clinical safety requirements across discovery, delivery, and operation.

You will coordinate cross‑functional delivery with Design/UX, Engineering, Data Science/MLOps, Architecture and Clinical Safety teams to deliver increments, manage dependencies and enable reuse of components and patterns as well as support the planning and management of releases.

As a subject matter expert, the role contributes to the vision, strategy, compliance and governance of all AI solutions.

About You
We are looking for someone with:

  • Demonstrated experience managing a digital product end‑to‑end (vision, roadmap, backlog, delivery, benefits) in an agile environment.
  • Practical understanding of AI/ML in products: model evaluation and monitoring, MLOps, data governance and privacy‑by‑design, bias/robustness, prompt/LLM patterns
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and change leadership skills with the ability to influence across clinical, operational and technical groups.
  • Recognised qualifications and/or equivalent experience in product management, AI/ML, data science, computer science, health informatics or related field, and a record of achievement in an ICT or health service organisation.
