Remuneration: $37.48 - $59.89 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38
Location: Cumberland Hospital
WSLHD Health Promotion is seeking an enthusiastic full time temporary Project Officer to join our dynamic team. In this exciting role, you’ll be part of a team fostering partnerships with over 600 early childhood services to deliver initiatives including implementation of the NSW Health Munch & Move program.

Essential Criteria:
· Qualification: Bachelor or higher degree in any of the following – Population Health, Health Promotion, Public Health, Education, or other relevant degree
Selection Criteria:
1. Relevant tertiary qualifications at graduate level or above in: population health, health promotion, public health or other health related areas
2. Knowledge, experience or understanding of key Early Years settings and the key issues that impact service delivery
3. Demonstrated experience in project planning, implementation, evaluation and dissemination of best practice interventions (especially in the area of childhood obesity prevention)
4. Demonstrated effective organisational skills, problem solving skills and computer skills
5. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills (including the ability to conduct public presentations and facilitate groups both face to face on online)
6. Understanding of issues that impact on service delivery in relation to social disadvantage, Aboriginal and culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities
7. Demonstrated experience in working as part of a team and developing and maintaining partnerships, and ability to work with minimal supervision
8. Current driver’s license valid within Australia
