Position Title: PCLI Senior Social Worker
Employment Type: Maximum Term Part-Time (until November 2025)
Hours per week: 20 hours per week
Position Grade: Social Worker (Level 4) Year1-2
Salary: $117, 544.00 - $120, 393.00 (pro-rata) base salary per annum

About the role:
We have an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team leading our approach to the provision of quality care to clients of the Community Mental Health Service.

Selection Criteria:
1. Personal integrity and demonstrated commitment to the Philosophy, Mission and Values of Mary Aikenhead Ministries and St Vincent’s Health Australia.
2. Degree in Social Work and eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) with evidence of clinical experience in a tertiary hospital or health related field as a practising Social Worker.
3. Demonstrated expertise, knowledge and skills in complex mental health assessment, care and discharge planning: including but not limited to trauma, homelessness, domestic violence, child protection, guardianships, drug and alcohol etc. using a recovery based approach.
4. Demonstrated competencies and experience in the provision of clinical supervision and the ability to undertake and lead clinical planning, research, quality improvement, staff education, and education projects within the mental health service.
5. Demonstrated high level autonomous clinical casework with people who have complex co-occurring health and support needs.
6. Demonstrated ability to navigate, liaise, and establish relationships with external partners including government, NGOs, and NDIS.
7. Computer literacy and demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills to ensure constructive and collaborative relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
8. Current unrestricted NSW Driver's license or equivalent.
