The Occupational Therapist position sit within a multidisciplinary team to provide assessment and treatment to children who are non-NDIS participants. Children seen have a variety of goals including self care, sensory processing, rehabilitation following illness or injury or achievement of developmental milestones. The successful Occupational Therapist will work closely with Physiotherapists, Speech Pathologists, Psychologists, Child and Family Health Nurses and Audiologist to support families in achieving goals.
These positions represent a rare opportunity to obtain permanent and flexible work within NSW Health. The Occupational Therapy team is focused on providing evidenced based care and you will be given opportunities to participate in skill and knowledge development as well as quality initiatives.

A little about us.
As a part of the new Shellharbour Hospital and Integrated Services Project, a new Community Health Centre is being built on the old Port Kembla Hospital site. Located on Dharawal Country, Warrawong Community Health Centre will bring together a range of services including community mental health, drug and alcohol, community nursing, and child and family services.
Until the new Community Centre is complete, some allied health services will continue to operate out of the Port Kembla Hospital site.
