About the role

As the Nurse Practitioner for the MPS Network, you'll provide a high level of evidence-based health care (within the specialty area of rural generalist) to improve access to care and address gaps in existing health care services, through the provision of a flexible and innovative model of care based in the community setting.  

You'll provide clinical and professional leadership as an expert in the clinical field, and undertake comprehensive health assessments as well as collaborating and consulting with other members of the health care team to plan, implement and evaluate care. This integrated approach will support best practice and maximise patient care outcomes. 

The Transitional Nurse Practitioner is appointed for a provisional period of up to three (3) years until the applicant meets the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) requirements for nurse practitioner endorsement. 

Bonalbo is in the beautiful Northern Rivers region of NSW, known for its unspoilt bushland surroundings, sub-tropical National Parks and the majestic Clarence River. For a different type of scene, you can drive to the Gold Coast or Brisbane in under 3 hours.
