What you'll be doing
A supporting role to provide individualised excellent patient/client care within a health service enviroment to maximise the health outcomes for a patient/client, under the supervision and direction of the Registered Nurse.
- Current enrolment in the first year of a Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia-approved health degree, leading to registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1).
- Demonstrated understanding of team nursing and ability to work effectively as part of the multidisciplinary health care team.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of person-centered care and evidence-based practice.
- Demonstrates ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Consistently demonstrate behaviours that reinforce the CORE values of the organisation: Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment.
