Selection Criteria
- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia. Applicants must have Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) or be eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist Psychiatrist and/or overseas trained substantial specialist pathways. Applicants expecting to be awarded their Fellowship within 3 months may be considered.

- Demonstrated clinical experience in community mental health care
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication skills and the ability to work within a team and staff from a variety of professional disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience in engaging, liaising, developing sustainable and beneficial working relationships with GPs, consumers and carers, community organisations with demonstrated understanding of the recovery and care coordination models of care
- Experience in teaching psychiatry to students, trainees and others and willingness in supervising trainees in psychiatry
- Demonstrated interest in improvement of clinical governance of mental health services, including quality improvement methodologies, Mental Health Act 2007 and its application, and a commitment to fostering this interest in medical staff and other clinicians
- Current NSW Drivers License and the ability to drive
