- Registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist or hold General registration and have practiced in the medical profession for at least 10 years as the holder of general registration
- Is a NSW Health authorised Voluntary Assisted Dying medical practitioner
- Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively and compassionately with all stakeholders, colleagues, direct reports, as well as patients and consumers
- Sound knowledge of and commitment to clinical quality and patient safety, work health and safety, working within NSW Health Policy and current clinical practice guidelines
- Demonstrated good understanding of the NSW Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2022
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing self-education and professional development, including evidence of participation in continuing medical education and continuing professional development
- Valid unrestricted drivers’ licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment
