What you'll be doing
The courier driver is responsible for supporting the receiving and forwarding of internal and external mail, parcels and equipment via delivery and distribution in a timely, reliable and effective manner, across multiple sites within the district.
The position will also provide an efficient and customer focused service and assist in the day-to-day operations of the delivery services throughout the district into mail room/s, wards and loading docks.

- Evidence of a current unencumbered NSW drivers’ licence - Class C
- Demonstrated ability to manage time, organise workload and prioritise tasks for the collection and delivery of goods in accordance with timeframes of the courier service schedule
- Demonstrated ability to act professionally and responsibly when working without direct supervision
- Demonstrated customer focus and commitment to providing an efficient quality courier service
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to relay information, accurately report events and deal with people in a professional, courteous and friendly manner
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated understanding of manual handling techniques and ability to perform work of a physical nature
- Sound knowledge and understanding of Work Health & Safety policies
