What you will be doing:

As the Inventory & Logistics Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing and managing the district’s inventory, supply chain, logistics, and operations. This is an exciting opportunity to coordinate and drive forward HNELHD’s inventory processes and logistical enhancements into the future. You’ll have the chance to influence all aspects of inventory management and logistics, from upstream processes (managing demand in critical areas) to downstream activities (implementing best practices to support front-facing clinical staff).

In this role, you will:

  • Oversee loading dock services and actively support procurement initiatives across the Hunter New England Local Health District (HNELHD).
  • Implement, monitor, and evaluate inventory and logistics services to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Perform process audits and review relevant data to align usage with activity, optimizing overall performance.
  • Support senior management in the cost-effective and timely delivery of logistics services district-wide.
  • Provide valuable assistance to the Clinical Products Manager with tasks such as recall & alert management, product & backorder management, product notifications, and general administrative duties.
  • Manipulate data to generate detailed inventory management reports to support HNELHD departments in achieving optimal inventory outcomes.

You will have a sharp attention to detail and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a dynamic, multidisciplinary team. Your problem-solving abilities, combined with your experience in administration, will enable you to engage with stakeholders and achieve optimal outcomes.
