How to Apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  1. Completion of Diploma in Library and Information Studies or equivalent, with eligibility for Library Technician membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA).
  2. Demonstrated experience in the use of library management systems, online information tools, the Microsoft Office suite of products and other software products.
  3. Demonstrated ability to undertake detailed work, including data entry with a high level of accuracy.
  4. Well developed communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively with a range of client groups.
  5. Demonstrated commitment to client-focused service provision, including quality improvement and service evaluation.
  6. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and commitment to achieving team goals.
  8. Must be available to participate in an extended hours roster.
