About the role

The Health & Security Assistant role is an integral part of the multidisciplinary healthcare team, working under the direction and supervision of the Support Service Manager to support and provide security and cleaning duties to the Gilgandra MPS.


If you are a licenced security officer who would like to work in a caring and friendly environment, and can work nightshifts, look no further.
 

Your role provides support to the nursing team under their guidance in the delivery of patient care.  We will develop you to reach your potential and will always support you in an inclusive, collaborative and caring team environment.  
 

In a small facility your role will be interesting and varied and will include security related duties, portering for patient transfers around the facility, basic patient care and observation, cleaning duties and general assistance to ensure the smooth running of the facility.
 

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work flexibly on a 24/7 roster, including night shifts, weekends and public holidays.
