About the role
Working in close collaboration with perioperative services, surgical and medical teams, patient flow teams, and executive, the position contributes to both the strategic and operational management of elective surgery. This includes overseeing surgical waiting lists, optimising theatre utilisation, and monitoring and evaluating strategies designed to improve elective surgery performance.
Undertaking a key role in ensuring district-wide compliance with the current NSW Health Planned Surgery Access Policy and in driving continuous improvement to support high‑quality, patient‑centered surgical care.
